Fundraising Opportunities
Soup Says It AllTM is very happy to assist with your organization’s fundraising activities. We have designed a system that enables your organization to receive donations continually on products purchased from our web site using your organization’s identifier.
What does your organization need to do to get receive donations from Soup Says It AllTM? An Easy Two-step process:
- Sign up with Soup Says It AllTM
- Promote your code, to be used on our website.
From then on we track the sales attributed to your organization and send checks to the place/person your organization designates to receive your monies.
How It Works
Soup Says It AllTM purchases all the inventory items for the products on the web site, there is no cost to your organization for inventory holding or packing. You do not need to take product to customers after they purchase them on the web and you do not need to collect any money. All that your organization needs to do is encourage customers to use Soup Says It AllTM’s web site URL along with your code and send the Thinking of You Gifts to their friends, family, relatives, coworkers, and acquaintances.
If desired, we will work with your organization to define marketing opportunities that we currently use. We will authorize you to use our trademark in your marketing and we will reciprocate if you would like us to by using your organizations name and code on our list of organizations that we donate money to. So even if the customer does not remember your code it is readily accessible to them.
You benefit in two ways:
- The valuable direct contacts you make.
- Through the general public who would like to support your organization even if they have not seen any of your marketing materials, but know your name.
The Benefits
- No inventory to manage or purchase.
- No money to collect.
- No product to deliver.
- No bookkeeping to do.
- Monies paid out on our regular pay days once the $10.00 minimum is exceeded.
- More exposure for purchases with your name on our list of donation beneficiaries.
- Use of Soup Says It AllTM trademarked logo for your advertising/marketing.
- A legacy of income for your organization once you set it up.
- Your organization’s fundraising supports sheltered workshops* through each sale that is attributed to your organization.
How much is the donation on each sale?
We offer to organizations the opportunity to receive a donation from Soup Says It AllTM for each product purchased using your assigned identifier. Soup Says It AllTM currently donates 6.68% of the product cost on each sale credited to your account on the internet. (The commission rate does not apply to sales tax or shipping cost)
*What and Why do you want to support sheltered workshops?
You can use the fact (and you can use this in your marketing) that this gift is packed by a “Sheltered Workshop” that you and your customers support through the purchase of gifts from our web site. A sheltered workshop is a business, typically a 501(c)3 not for profit, which employs people that the State of Missouri has certified as being or having a mental or physical challenge. The business must comply with state regulations regarding the hours that can be worked, pay rates, safety, type of work that can be perform, etc. This gives the people that usually can not find gainful employment an opportunity to have gainful employment. This provides them the feeling of being a productive employee, earning their own money and each person has a job to go to each day.
Soup Says It AllTM found that the local sheltered workshops have the ability to provide a service that we can purchase. We have designed our current packing process to accommodate the people at the sheltered workshops. We intend to include the same philosophy in our future products. Soup Says It AllTM, and now your company, can be proud to support the mission of sheltered workshops and their employees. This is a win for your fundraising activities, a win for Soup Says It AllTM and a win for the workshops. WIN – WIN - WIN.
The mission statements of the two sheltered works shops we are using are as follows:
- "Providing meaningful employment for adults with disabilities"
- "Workshop for special people"
